Northwest District Buddhist Convention
The Seattle Betsuin and Northwest District are honored to host the 2026 BCA National Council Meeting and 78th NW District Convention, Friday, February 13 through Sunday, February 15 at the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington in Renton, WA.

This year’s theme, “Renewal: Jodo Shinshu for Today,” is reflected in our ginkgo-leaf logo—a symbol of resilience, continuity, and the ever-evolving relevance of the Dharma. Inspired by the Evergreen forests and morning Mist of the Pacific Northwest, our convention invites us to come together as a Sangha to reconnect, reflect, and revitalize our shared path.

Our Yakima Center ministers will be at the Convention providing a talk about Rennyo Shonin.
Rev. Rosalie will have an opportunity to chat with folks about Tokudo Ordination for those interested in becoming minsters themselves.
