Special Guest Coming Soon....

We will have the honor of Rev. Paul Vielle from the Spokane Buddhist Church hosting our Sunday Service for July 21st, 2024 at 10:00 AM PST.

Rev. Paul Vielle published the book Dharma Whispers; the Quiet Way of Buddha’s Wisdom.  This book is a collection of dharma talks and newsletter articles, written from 2004 to 2017, when he served as a minister’s assistant at the Spokane Buddhist Temple, in Spokane, Washington. Each story reflects in some small way his appreciation of the Buddha Dharma, as it manifests in the joys and challenges of everyday living. In its essence, Buddhism is a teaching of wisdom, a way of understanding the world and oneself from a new perspective. The stories examine the Buddhist themes of impermanence, interdependence, emptiness, and suffering. Dharma lessons can pop up in the most unlikely encounters, as with, for example, a singer in the subway, a taxi driver in Osaka, or a homeless man on the streets of Berkeley. Newcomers to Buddhism, those wanting to learn more about its teachings as a path to inner peace, may find these short essays of his book inspiring, insightful, and thought provoking.

Dharm Discussion

Rev. Paul Vielle will be hosting a Dharma Discussion on the evening of his arrival to the Yakima area.  Saturday July 20th, 2024 at 5:30 PM PST.

This discussion will be based off the article entitled "The Path of Gratitude" by Jeff Wilson.
