About the event
The Bishop of the Buddhist Churches of America (BCA) will be making his presence to our Yakima Valley. We would love for you all to come join us in greeting him to our sangha on Monday at 11 AM in Wapato at the Yakima Buddhist Church.
This event is in person only with a special Kieshiki service. This is a formal ceremony for those who aspire to follow the Buddhist path by taking refuge in the Three Treasures of the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. A formal Dharma name (homyo) is also given during this service.
Everyone who can make it is encouraged to attend this meaningful service, including non-Buddhist family and friends.
